Completed Activities Sem I 2025 - 26

• Discussion meeting on Project Based Learning led by Prof. Karthik Chetan V (BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus) was held on 15th Nov, 2025.
• Intensive Teaching Workshop - Segment 2, which involves in-classroom feedback on teaching by peers, was initiated on 13th Nov. The session will be wound up in Jan, 2026.
• Invited talk on Democratizing Programming with Gen AI  by Prof. Viraj Kumar (Visiting Professor, Kotak-IISc AI-ML Centre at IISc Bangalore) was given on 3rd Oct, 2025.
• Invited talk on Rethinking Learning Outcomes and Assessments for Engineering Courses in the Gen AI Era by Prof. Viraj Kumar (Visiting Professor, Kotak-IISc AI-ML Centre at IISc Bangalore) given on 3rd Oct, 2025.
• Teacher's Day program Samarpan was held on 22nd Sep, 2025. The program involved felicitation of faculties who completed 10 and 20 years of service, awarding the  Best Teacher and Best Teaching Assistant Awards and cultural programs. Prof. Bharat Bushan was the chief guest for the program.
• Intensive Teaching Workshop - Segment 1, which involved short presentations given to expert panels and peers by newly joined faculties, was initiated on 20th Sep. There were four sessions in total and the segment was completed successfully on 17th Oct, 2025.
• Proposal presentations for TLC funding Projects related to Teaching and Learning was held on 6th and 9th of Sep. A total of 11 proposals were submitted of which 10 were selected for funding.
• A practice-oriented session on AI for Academics: Enhancing Teaching, Research and Productivity by Prof. Vipin Kizheppatt from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was held on 28th Aug, 2025.
• Intensive Teaching Workshop - Introductory Session was held on 25th Aug, 2025. Prof. Raghunath Ratabole explained the philosophy behind the exercise and detailed the plan of the program for the semester.
• Teaching Related Orientation Program for New Faculties, a day long session for newly joined faculties, was conducted by resource persons: Prof. Pravin Mane, Prof. Bharat Deshpande, Prof. Arnab Kumar Paul and Prof. Toby Joseph on 7th Aug, 2025.
