The Department of Civil Engineering, BITS Pilani, is proud to share the enriching experience of a 7-day Global University Exposure program hosted by Azizi Developments, one of the leading and award-winning real estate developers in the UAE.

A group of 8 students (Ms Kashish Agrawal, Ms Loveesha Goyal, Mr Siddharth Patel, Mr Sai Ganesh Santhosh Gattu, Mr Vipul Kotha from Pilani Campus and Mr Sonit Srivastava, Mr Sriram Udhayakumar, Mr Vardhan Mahajan from Hyderabad Campus) and 2 faculty members (Prof Manoj Kumar, Prof Subhasis Pradhan from Pilani Campus) nominated by the Department of Civil Engineering, Pilani Campus, had the incredible opportunity to witness the engineering, planning, and execution of Azizi’s iconic flagship project — Burj Azizi, a next-generation high-rise landmark in Dubai (https://www.burjazizi.com). The program also included detailed site visits and learning sessions at their prominent residential developments such as Azizi Riviera and Azizi Venice.

What made this journey truly special was the unmatched hospitality extended by the leadership team at Azizi Developments, who not only curated insightful technical sessions but also personally accompanied the group on cultural and architectural explorations across the city.

This experience served as a unique blend of learning, global exposure, and industry-academia collaboration—offering our students a window into the real-world application of civil engineering on a global scale.
