Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Mathematics at
BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, Goa, for a NBHM sponsored research project titled "Computation of
Generalized Inverses of Tensors and Tensor Decomposition (02011/31/2025NBHM(R.P)/R&D II/ 9831)”.

Broad area of Research : Numerical Linear Algebra

Duration of the project : 3 years

Fellowship Amount (Rs.) : Rs. 37,000 per month

Accommodation: Hostel Accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the
rules and regulations of the institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.

Eligibility: Candidates must have a post-graduate degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with first class
(or at least CGPA 6.5). The candidates should have an excellent academic background with sound knowledge in
Linear Algebra and Numerical Analysis. Knowledge of mathematical software such as MATLAB/ MATHEMATICA,
etc., will be desirable. Preference will be given to the NET/GATE-qualified candidate.
