Applications are invited from suitable candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work on the following project sponsored by Anusandhan National Research Foundation – Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (ANRF-PMECRG), under the supervision of Prof. Arnab Guha, Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, India.

Eligibility requirements:

• S./M.Sc./MTech. or equivalent degrees in Life sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology or a related discipline with at least 60% marks.
• The project will involve experimental work along with some computational studies using in silico interaction tools. The experimental work includes basic molecular biology techniques, real-time PCR, bacterial culture etc.
• Candidates with an inclination for biosensing and point-of-care (POC) diagnostics would be preferred
• Basic knowledge of any programming languages such as MATLAB, Python etc is desirable but not mandatory.
