International Conference on Advanced Scientific Computing & Machine Learning held at BITS Pilani Goa Campus

The Department of Mathematics at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus successfully hosted the International Conference on Advanced Scientific Computing & Machine Learning (ASCML 2026) from 10th to 12th February 2026. The three-day international conference brought together leading researchers, academicians, industry experts, and students for engaging discussions on the latest advancements in scientific computing and machine learning. More than 120 students, research scholars, and faculties from different parts of India and a few from abroad participated in the conference at the venue, while 25 participated virtually. The conference was sponsored by government agencies such as the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

The event featured inspiring keynote addresses by distinguished experts, technical paper presentations, and interactive sessions that fostered meaningful academic exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants explored innovative applications of machine learning in science and engineering, AI-powered simulations, quantum computing, reinforcement learning models, and hybrid AI-HPC frameworks. The conference highlighted the growing importance of computational methods in solving real-world challenges and encouraged young researchers to contribute to this rapidly evolving field.

ASCML 2026 served as a dynamic platform for presenting cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence, deep learning, data science, numerical analysis, high-performance computing, and emerging AI-driven technologies. Beyond the academic rigor, delegates appreciated the vibrant campus atmosphere and the opportunity to network with peers in a collaborative environment. ASCML 2026 serves as a significant demonstration of BITS Pilani Goa Campus's unwavering commitment to advancing high-impact research and facilitating global collaboration in the fields of advanced scientific computing and machine learning.
