Delighted to share that our latest research article titled
๐Ÿงฉ โ€œDecentralized faecal sludge management in rural India by integrating drying beds for dewatering and coagulation for leachate treatment: A sustainable, cost-effective, nature-based solutionโ€
has been published in the Journal of Water Process Engineering (Elsevier, 2025).
Authored by Harishvar Jothinathan and Dr. Ajit Pratap Singh,
this study presents an innovative hybrid treatment system combining planted drying beds and natural coagulants (Moringa oleifera & chitosan) โ€” achieving pollutant removal efficiencies above 95% and offering a sustainable, low-cost solution for rural sanitation challenges. ๐Ÿ’ง๐ŸŒฟ
