We have an average of 90% success in our placements, which means that about 90% of our students who are interested in securing jobs while still at campus are successful. This is a validation of the quality of the education and experience they get in the programmes they choose. About 150 large and medium sized companies visit our campus regularly to recruit our students.

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. The primary motive of BITS is to "train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information".

What started in early 1900s as a small school, blossomed into a set of colleges for higher education until 1964 when all these colleges amalgamated to culminate into a unique Indian University of International standing.

Placement process for a semester starts about two months ahead of the semester. Companies provide necessary data through Job announcement form. The same is studied and a formal invitation is sent out by e-mail.

Students from the following Degree programmes and numbers will be available for recruitment during January - April 2011, from BITS Pilani, Pilani and Goa campuses. Majority of these students will graduate during June 2011 while a small number will graduate at the end of December 2011. Students of mainly Science & Economics program will be concurrently working for an Engineering / Management / Pharmacy program under the Dual Degree scheme.
