Mayank Bhutani (2015B2A30836P) and Koustubh Gupta (2015B4A20684P) of a team “VR Bros” are selected for the Best Demo Award on VR Demo Day for “Virtual Reality Program” under “School of Innovation India” by Facebook and SV.CO

The project was Bails Down, a VR Cricket Game which is an immersive VR experience of a Street Cricket player becoming a successful and famous cricketer.

All ten teams had received online training to develop application in Virtual Reality from August 2018 till January 2019. In the end of Virtual Reality program, all teams had submitted their projects. On Saturday 23rd February, Virtual Reality Demo Day was organized where all teams were invited to Bangalore to showcase their product. Out of these ten teams, a Team with the Best Demo was selected.

The Virtual Reality Program is the first program under School of Innovation which is focused on Virtual Reality as an emerging technology area, and as a part of this program, 10 student teams from across colleges in India were selected to build a next generation Virtual Reality product idea.

The School of Innovation India aims to foster future talent in emerging technologies and bring cutting edge technologies to India for ambitious students. It will help students to work with new-age technologies, learn how to build products while in college and scale under the guidance of the Industry.
