Alvina is a full-time PhD scholar who is deeply interested in the representation, portrayal, and perception of disability in literature. She is pursuing her PhD in English Literature at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus with a research focus in Disability Studies. Having completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English Literature from the University of Delhi, her academic journey is rooted in a profound love for stories and the voices they carry. Her work explores how literary narratives shape and are shaped by cultural attitudes towards disability, and she is committed to weaving inclusive, critical, and intersectional perspectives into the fabric of literary discourse.
