Category: research group Area of Research: Computational Transport Phenomena, Mathematical Modelling, Multiphase flows, Microfluidics, Drops and Bubbles Faculty:Sundari R Objectives: The IMPACT Laboratory (Industrial MultiPhase And Computational Transport), led by Dr. Sundari Ramji, is located in room A-200 within the Computational Laboratory of the Department of Chemical Engineering. The facility is equipped with high-performance computing workstations and has access to institute- and department-licensed software platforms, including MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics 6.3, enabling advanced modeling and simulation studies. Research in the group focuses on both fundamental studies and practical applications in Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering. Key areas include multiphase flows, computational transport phenomena, microfluidics, droplet and bubble dynamics, and systems biology. By combining mathematical modeling and advanced simulations, the IMPACT Lab seeks to generate insights that bridge theory and real-world applications.
