The inaugural Prof. Raghurama Best Graduating Student Award ceremony was recently held for celebrating the legacy of Prof. G. Raghurama at BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus. Prof. Raghurama, renowned for his illustrious tenure spanning over 25 years, including his recent role as Director of the campus, has been a beacon of excellence in teaching and administration.

Established through the generous contributions of BITS Pilani alumni, the award honors academic brilliance across three undergraduate programs: Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.

This year’s distinguished awardees—Mr. Aryan Saluja, Mr. Atharva Sankunde, and Mr. Sushil Nayak - are commended by the Institute and the department, who eagerly anticipate their future achievements.  The awards, which includes cash award and certificate, were presented by Prof. Suman Kundu, the Director of BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus.

Presently Prof. G. Raghurama is serving as Vice-Chancellor of DIT University, Dehradun.
