Rapid industrialization, urbanization, resource depletion, climate change, and growing energy and material demands are placing increasing pressure on natural systems and critical infrastructure. At the same time, advances in areas such as renewable energy, sustainable manufacturing, advanced materials, artificial intelligence, digitalization, biotechnology, and smart systems are creating new opportunities to address these challenges through more efficient, resilient, and environmentally responsible engineering solutions. The growing convergence of sustainability goals with emerging technologies is reshaping the way engineering systems are designed, operated, and optimized across sectors.
Against this backdrop, the Conference on Sustainable Engineering and Emerging Technologies (SE2T) is envisioned as a platform for knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and discussion on advances that can support the transition toward more sustainable technological and industrial systems. The conference seeks to bring together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, students, and other stakeholders to share recent findings, innovative approaches, and practical applications across diverse areas of sustainable engineering and emerging technologies. It also aims to encourage dialogue on current challenges, future research directions, and opportunities for translating scientific and technological advances into solutions with meaningful environmental, societal, and industrial impact.
