Research and Innovation Day (22/05/2024)

Dubai Electrical & Electronics Engineering Students Research Campus Faculty Department

 

  1. Ph.D. scholar Ms. Anusha Alexander under the guidance of Dr.V.Kalaichelvi, delivered a poster presentation on her research during Research and Innovation Day. External experts Dr. Judhi Prasetyo and Dr. Sameer Kishore from Middlesex University reviewed her work, appreciated it, and provided valuable suggestions.
  2. Mr. Deepak Bhatia, the Chairperson of the Industry Advisory Committee from Etisalat, attended the Research and Innovation Day. He reviewed the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) posters presented by Ph.D. scholars, First Degree and Master's Degree students and provided suggestions and feedback to elevate their progress to the next level for improving the quality of current work.
  3. Ph.D. scholar Ms. Smruthi Krishna under the guidance of Dr.Shazia Hasan , presented her research idea during Research and Innovation Day. External expert Prof. R.C. Bansal from the University of Sharjah reviewed her work and provided valuable suggestions.
  4. Ph.D. scholar Ms. Al Sameera BN under the guidance of Dr. Vilas Gaidhane, delivered a poster presentation on her research during Research and Innovation Day. External experts Dr. Bhopendra Singh, Amity University and Mr. Khalid Sheikh from Prognika Lab reviewed her work appreciated the innovation and idea.
  5. On the occasion of Research and Innovation Day 2024, Prof. Chithirai Pon Selvan from Curtin University, as an expert, made a visit to BPDC. He assessed the poster and offered insightful remarks and recommendations to Ms. Aparna K. G. and Mr. Afsal Khan, the Ph.D. scholars, guided by Dr. R. Swarnalatha.
  6. PhD candidates working on renewable energy technologies, Mr Hemang Thakkar, Mr Thanveer Hussain and Ms Abidha D presented poster presentations on Research and Innovation Day 2024 , and industry stalwarts Dr Muhannad Al-Suhaily, Senior Consultant, Grid assets Grid Assets Management and Studies, DNV  and S Nagarajan, Principal Consultant evaluated and appreciated the research ideas.
  7. Ms Sharaa Rizwan Khan( 2020A3TS0033U) a final year undergraduate student, guided by Dr R Swarnalatha showcased her thesis work as poster presentation on the topic” Quantifying Alzheimer's Pathology through EEG Signal Processing and Machine Learning” during the Research and Innovation day 2024.
  8. Ms. Annie,a Ph.D. scholar, under the guidance of Dr.A.R.Abdul Rajak , presented her research idea on Reconfigurable Antenna during Research and Innovation Day. External expert Prof. R.C. Bansal from the University of Sharjah reviewed her work and provided valuable suggestions.
  9. Ms Asma Fathima pursuing dissertation under Prof Gomathi Bhavani for her Masters in Electrical Engineering presented a poster on Power quality enhancement using dually powered unified power quality conditioner for microgrids on Research and Innovation day.
