The Student Welfare Division (SWD) of the BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus organized an Awareness and Interaction program for the undergraduate, postgraduate students and the Ph.D. Scholars on 26/06/2025. The Associate Dean, Student Welfare Division, Prof. Ranjan Dey, elucidated the gathering about the inception  and history of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) and its various activities. The Chief Warden, Prof. Varinder Singh spoke briefly about the pitfalls of Drug Abuse

The students were made aware of the side effects of drug abuse and addiction on their mental and physical health and how it affects their mental well being . The Pledge against Drug abuse was administered to the students and some students talked about their experiences and the perils of drug Abuse. A slogan writing board was also made available to the students wherein they put  their creativity to the best use to combat Drug Abuse and create Awareness about the same.
