We are delighted to welcome Dr. Vinayak Malaghan to our academic and research community.
Dr. Malaghan has previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He holds a dual PhD in Transportation Systems Engineering from IIT Hyderabad and Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. Prior to his doctoral studies, he gained valuable industry experience as a Deputy Engineer at LEA Associates South Asia Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi.
An alumnus of BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus), Dr. Malaghan completed his Masterโs degree in Transportation Engineering here, and earned his Bachelorโs degree in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.
His research interests span sustainable urban mobility, human factors in road safety, naturalistic driving and riding behaviour analysis, and emerging vehicle technologies for road safety.
We look forward to his valuable contributions to teaching, research, and collaborative initiatives within the department.
