Kalaichelvi, EEE department proposed their project on Intelligent surface Cleaning
Robot (IFOR CB-24) at The University of Wollongong Engineering Innovation Fair
2024. The event aimed to provide a platform for engineering students to showcase their
software, hardware, and research-based projects. A total of 81 teams competed across
3 different categories- Early Engineering, Advanced Engineering and Research,
showcasing the scope and diversity of innovative projects being developed by
engineering students.
IFOR competed in the Advanced Engineering category, which
featured 16 teams presenting cutting-edge projects. With AED 5,000 worth of prizes on
the line, the projects were judged between 2:30PM and 5:30PM by an independent
panel of experts. After evaluation, Team IFOR secured the 3rd rank, and a prize of
375AED which is a testament to our hard work and creativity. This achievement
highlights our commitment to contributing to the broader engineering community. The
fair provided an opportunity to network with peers, fostering collaboration and advancing
our professional development.
