The Department of Civil Engineering, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, is delighted to share that Prof. Srinivas Rallapalli
has been awarded a research grant of ₹20 lakhs from The Nature Conservancy (TNC), USA for the project:

"Hydrological Modeling and River Health Assessment for Decision Support and Targeted Conservation Planning in the Banas River Basin, Rajasthan."

This important project aims to advance scientific understanding of river basin hydrology, assess river health, and develop decision-support tools to enable evidence-based conservation planning and sustainable water resource management in the Banas River Basin.
The project reflects the department's continued commitment to addressing critical environmental and water resource challenges through cutting-edge research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and impactful solutions.
