Extends heartfelt thanks to our distinguished speakers, Ms. Laxmi Biswas (Associate, Dar Al-Handasah) and Mr. Shivam Yadav (Senior Engineer, Highways & Roads), for conducting an intensive two-day workshop on “Road Design Using Civil 3D Software” on November 8-9, 2025.

This workshop provided an immersive, learning experience for our students—bridging academic fundamentals with industry practice. Through real-world design exercises, participants explored how BIM-integrated Civil 3D workflows enhance roadway alignment, grading, drainage, and visualization—empowering future engineers to contribute effectively to modern highway and transportation projects across India and beyond.

With global insights shared by Ms. Biswas, a BITS Pilani alumna with over 20 years of international experience, and the practical software expertise of Mr. Yadav, the sessions inspired participants to think beyond textbooks and embrace digital engineering excellence.
