What is MIF?

The Mookerji Innovation Fund (MIF) is a PIEDS, BITS Pilani initiative made possible through the generous endowment by Mr. Sid Mookerji, a global tech entrepreneur, Founder and Managing Partner at Silicon Road Ventures, and a proud BITSian. The fund empowers BITSian founders with capital, mentorship, and a thriving community to launch scalable ventures.

• Current students from any of the 4 BITS Pilani campuses (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, Dubai)
• Alumni who graduated within the last 5 years.
• Startups must have at least one BITSian founder.

Silicon Road Ventures x MIF

Silicon Road Ventures (SRV) is a commerce‑tech focused venture capital firm founded in 2019 by BITS alumnus Sid Mookerji (1984 Batch) and headquartered in Atlanta, with key operations in Mumbai.

Select Startups from the Mookerji Innovation Fund gain access to SRV’s ecosystem and are eligible for follow‑on funding from SRV post-investment, offering a fast‑track to scale and market traction.
