Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Biological Sciences at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a Goa Forest Department sponsored research project titled Survey, Inventory, and Documentation of Freshwater Biodiversity in Goan Streams and Rivers, numbered 2/5/RES/ACCTS/CAMPA/RAC

Principal Investigator: Prof Sumit Biswas

Broad area of Research: Baseline data on faunal diversity of different protected areas through for scientific and sustainable management of Biological Diversity and Biological Resources

Duration of the project: Two Years

Fellowship Amount (Rs.): Project Assistant: Rs. 20,000 per month    

Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.

Qualification:

Masters in Life Sciences/Allied Discipline with experience of sampling methods.
