Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Research Assistant to work on the following project accepted for funding by the Indian Council for Social Science Research, under the supervision of Prof. Archana Srivastava and Prof. Swati Alok (Department of Economics and Finance, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus).

Title of the project: “Indian Firms in Global Value Chains: Sectoral Analysis using Primary Survey”
Name of the post: Research Assistant (Full-time, to be converted into PhD)
No. of posts: One
Fellowship amount: Rs. 37,000 per month (Consolidated)
Note: This fellowship amount is for 12-14 months. After the period, candidate shall be getting the fellowship and other benefits as per the BITS norms.
Eligibility requirements:

 Strong command over Statistical tools.
Desirable:
 Good command over data cleaning, analysis and econometrics, statistical software (STATA, R, Eviews or others), good writing skills
 Candidates with prior experience in secondary research, primary research, data cleaning and data analysis
 Good communication skills
 Proficiency in English
