Project Title

Polyoxo-Noble-Metalate (PONM) and Polyoxometalate (POM) – Based Dual- Vertex Metal-Organic Frameworks (PONM-POM-MOFs), and POM-MOFs with Ligand-Anchored Noble-Metal Single-Sites: Novel Classes of Heterogeneous Catalysts.

Project Duration

3 Years (The selected candidate will be given the opportunity to register for the BITS Pilani PhD program, subject to the fulfillment of institute requirements)

Scope of Work

Systematic design, synthesis and characterization of novel classes of inorganic-organic hybrid materials, and their utilization as heterogeneous catalysts in various fundamentally important reactions. The JRF would be actively involved in writing research articles and patents (if applicable).

Essential Qualifications

First class in MSc. (Chemistry) or equivalent degree, and a minimum of 60% marks in BSc.

Desirable Qualifications

Candidates with a background in Inorganic and/or Organic chemistry as well as experience in the synthesis and characterization of materials will be preferred. Qualification in any of the National Eligibility Tests, such as the CSIR–UGC NET (including lectureship) and/or GATE, is desirable.
