Applications are invited for the position of junior research fellow (JRF) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) sponsored research project titled “Enabling efficient and reliable normally off operation in AlGaN/GaN HEMTs for higher voltage nodes (600 V and beyond) using integrated experimental and computational approach” (ANRF/ECRG/2024/002460/ENS).

Broad area of Research: Design of wide bandgap power semiconductor devices

Duration of the project: 36 months

Fellowship Amount (Rs.): 37,000 per month + 18% HRA (HRA is applicable only if hostel accommodation is not available)

Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:-

1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR –UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
2. The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by central Government departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
