It gives immense pleasure to share with you that BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus team - Growth Hackers has won the L’Oréal Sustainability Challenge 2019.
The problem statement was - "You will be tackling key problems like the 3R model, How to minimize waste during procurement and production and other aspects of a product life-cycle."
This challenge was open to all the B-schools and selected engineering schools.
14,900 students registered in this challenge which began in September. Then top 25 teams were invited to visit L’Oréal's production facility in Pune on September 17. Further, the top 5 teams were invited for the Grand finale which was held in Mumbai on Oct 14.
We were the only team from an engineering background to make it up to top - 5. Other teams were from top B-Schools - ISB, XLRI, IIM - Shillong, etc.
