Applications are invited from motivated and meritorious candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Government of Norway funded international collaborative research project, under the supervision of Prof. Mani Sankar Dasgupta, Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITS Pilani.
Title of the project: Sustainable Cooling and Heating in India (INDEE3)
Duration of the project: 36 months
Fellowship amount: Rs. 37,500/- per month (Additional benefits of Research Consumable)
Eligibility requirements: B.E./B.Tech. and/or M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or allied disciplines, with knowledge of experimental techniques, modelling and simulation tools, CFD, or system analysis.
Preferred background: Skills in experimental work, modelling and simulation, CFD, design, and system analysis will be desirable.
Research environment: Work in an Indo–Norwegian collaborative ecosystem with academic and industrial partners, contributing to sustainability and climate goals. Exposure to advanced research methodologies, interdisciplinary collaboration, advanced simulation, modelling, CFD, design, and implementation.
