Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for an ASEAN-India Science & Technology development Fund (ASTDF), ANRF sponsored research project titled “Growth and characterization of Gallium oxide and its application for broadband ultraviolet photodetector” (CRD_2024_000776). Selected candidate will get a chance to work with international researchers/collaborators.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Apurba Chakraborty (EEE, BITS Pilani Goa Campus), Prof. Songphol Kanjanachuchai (Chulalongkorn University) and Prof. Yam Fong Kwong (Universiti Sains Malaysia)
Broad area of Research: Wide-bandgap semiconductors
Duration of the project: 2 Years
Fellowship Amount (Rs.): 37,000 per month+ HRA
Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate. HRA will be provided if the hostel accommodation is not available.
Qualification: ME/M.Tech in Microelectronics, VLSI Design, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, or MSc in Physics/Electronics or equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate overall. Candidate with GATE or NET score is desirable.
