Applications are invited for ONE position of Research Fellow on a project, “Design, Implementation and ML-based Modeling of Gallium Oxide based Junction Barrier Schottky Diodes (JBSD) for Extreme Environment and High Power Applications” under the supervision of Dr. Apurba Chakraborty, Prof. C.K Ramesha and Dr. Kanchan Manna.

Design and characterization of Ga2O3 based Junction barrier schottky diodes. Growth of p type oxides on n type Ga2O3. Material characterization and contact formation (ohmic and schottky). Fellowship: ₹37,000 - ₹42,000 per month (based on the year of PhD and performance)

Benefits: The research fellow will get the chance to work on state of the art growth and characterization facility for compound semiconductor devices. They can also work in collaboration with other universities in India/abroad. In addition to the fellowship, they will get contingency fund to support other research related activities. Hostel or Married scholar accommodation can be provided subject to availability and as per the institute's rules and regulations.
