2023 Applications are invited for ONE position of PhD Scholar for the sponsored project on “Investigations on Impacts of Variations in Local Site and Climatic Conditions on Field Performance of Grid- connected Solar Photovoltaic and Small Wind Energy Systems at BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa- Campus.”, under the Cross-Disciplinary Research Framework (CDRF) Scheme of BITS, Pilani. The selected candidate will be admitted to a full-time Ph.D. program under the Principal Investigator(s). Also, the selected candidate will be provided hostel accommodation on campus, and other facilities such as medical facilities on par with other regular enrolled Ph.D. students. The position is applicable only to Ph.D. aspirants. Scope of Research Essential Qualification Desirable Experience
On campus site visits, survey and investigations, Data Analysis, Modeling and Simulation, Diagnostic studies, Prediction and trouble-shooting, reporting and presentations. M.E./ M.Tech. in Renewable Energy, Environmental Engg,, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering
/Technology from reputed Institute/ University. Specialization in Energy, Environment or Sustainable Development. Work experience with Renewable Energy Systems, Solar PV, Wind Energy, Bio-energy systems. Knowledge of EIA, proficiency in use of computer workstation and
software for research.

Fellowship: ₹37,000 - ₹42,000 per month (based on the year of PhD and performance)
