Desirable Qualification |
Interdisciplinary work in the regime of quantum technology at the Center for Research in Quantum Information and Technology (CRQIT). The project aims to understand the physics of strongly correlated systems using emergent technology. It involves developing classical optimization algorithms, developing algorithms to implement on quantum architecture, and benchmarking algorithms via CPU/GPU-based classical computation. |
MSc (with at least 60% marks) in physics with a strong interest in theoretical physics. Candidates with MSc in mathematics may also apply. |
Knowledge in programming using C/C++/python.
Interest and expertise in linear algebra, representation theory and other mathematical topics.
Experience of working in a research project with some output/publication.
