Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in the Department of Biological Sciences at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a DBT sponsored research project titled“Developmental Immune Suppression and its Antiplasmodial Effects in Malaria Mosquito Anopheles stephensi” BT/PR44570/MED/29/1581/2021.

Co-Principal Investigator: Dr. Ajeet Mohanty
Broad area of Research: Disease Vector biology
Duration of the project: 3 years
Fellowship Amount (Rs.): 31,000/- p.m (Consolidated; Will be upgraded to 37,000/- p.m, subjected to approval by DBT)
Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate in Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:-
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR –UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by central Government departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
