We are delighted to invite you to a Lecture Series in Number Theory, organized by the Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, from October 1–3, 2025 (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM). The aim of this series is to spark interest and encourage students in Goa by providing exposure to diverse areas of Number Theory, while also offering a platform for MSc students and research enthusiasts to interact with experts.

We are privileged to host the following distinguished speakers:

• Prof. Kaneenika Sinha (Department of Mathematics, IISER Pune)
  Title: Equidistribution and Number Theory

• Prof. Divyum Sharma (Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus)
  Title: Some Methods in Diophantine Analysis

This 3-day event promises engaging discussions on deep mathematical ideas and potential research directions in Number Theory.

Key Information:

• Eligibility: MSc students, PhD scholars, and faculty members from Goa and nearby states.

• Registration: Free of cost; limited to 40 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Facilities: Lunch will be provided. (Please note that accommodation cannot be provided.)
