Activities

Since inception, the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems has been arranging guest lectures from Industry and academia. Many eminent professionals from Industry have delivered talks in entrepreneurship, challenges & rewards in software engineering, quantum reality and objective semantic information etc. As the students entered their final year of graduation, the department organized seminars and workshops in business challenges in data warehousing and data mining, lean for leadership: lessons from corporate jungle, challenges in animation industry, network design and development strategies for sensor networks etc. to make them Industry ready. The faculty members from the department supervise the activities of two student associations, CSA, and ISA. The department also helps students from all other streams of engineering and science in honing their programming skills by conducting hands on training programs and certificate courses from time to time on topics like web programming, data structures, object oriented design, Android programming etc. The department helps student members managing the activities of ACM Student Chapter at Hyderabad Campus.
