Overview

The Department has Five Central Facilities and Five main Laboratories, catering to the need of Students, Research Scholars and Faculty. There is a centralized Library and Information Processing Center for the entire Institute. The department has access to following professional software: CATIA, QUEST, ARENA, MINITAB, DFMA, LINDO/LINGO, Multi-Attribute Decision Models, ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, FLUENT, COMSOL, COVENTER, INTELLISUITE.

Library Facility

The central library has about 11150 titles (books) in Mechanical Engineering. It also subscribes to more than 100 printed and e-journals related to Mechanical Engineering. You may visit Library site for further details: Click here.

Achievements

Awards and Recognitions

FIRA – 2010 (Bangalore, India): AcYut was made completely autonomous for this event and demonstrated Weight Lifting and set world record by Lifting 40 CDs
