Other Institutional Contribution:
  1. Member of Curriculum Review committee in 2011 as Head of the Department and actively participated in Curriculum benchmarking of FD and HD Program 
  2. Design, development, installation and commissioning of IC Engine, Fluid Mechanics and Machines, Thermal Science, Material Science, CNC Laboratory since the inception of the department at K.K. Birla Goa Campus. Lead the team of teaching and non-teaching staff in the whole process from scratch.
  3. WILP program committee on Design Programs, I have identified SME's for M.Tech (Automotive Engg) , received and streamlined handout of all 20 courses. The course outcomes are mapped with program outcomes as per ABET accreditation.

  4. BITSAT Question Paper Moderator

    • Logical reasoning for the BITSAT(March -May 2022)
    • HD (Design Engineering) in 2016

 

Industry Engagement:
  • Industry Immersion Program : Visited Tata Technologies, Pune during June 3-28, 2013 under Industry Immersion Program. Visited Jaguar Land Rover Offshore Development Center and Tata Motors Offshore Development Center in the CAD and NVH Group to understand the design and NVH analysis of passenger cars. This experience helped in making Curriculum of WILP M.Tech (Automotive Engg.) program. It has also helped me in formulating a research proposal of "Characterisation of Magneto Rheological Dampers.'

  • PS Activities as a Faculty

    1. Opened PS-I station at Cartini India Limited in 2013 as an outcome of interaction with CII Goa Chapter.
    2. Opened PS -II Station at IFB Goa in 2010-11 as an outcome of interaction for a consulting job
    3. Invited by CII, Goa to higher education summit on 14.12.2012 to deliver lecture on multi-disciplinary projects.
    4. PS-I instructor at L&T Chiyoda, Grasim Industries, Nagda and Access Livelihoods Consulting India Ltd, Hyderabad.

1.  Member of organizing committee on workshop on biosensors organized by BITS Pilani, Goa campus in  February, 2006. 
 
2.  Coordinator of Workshop on Robotics held on 18th and 19th November 2006 
        
3. Organized INDO-RUSSIAN WORK SHOP on topical problems in sold mechanics, sponsored by DST and Russian Academy of Sciences,  Nov-11-14,2008
 
4. Organised Two day Faculty Development Program for Engineering and Technical courses in collaboration with   Confederation of Indian Industry on 27 and 28 September 2012 as Convenor.
 
5.Organized International Conference on Emerging Miniaturized Technology Micro to Nano EMTM2N , Feb 22-23,  2013 at BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla, Goa Campus as Finance Chair.
 
6. Member of Program Committee 1st International & 16th National Conference on Machines and Mechanisms (iNaCoMM 2013) held at IIT Roorkee between December 18 to December 20, 2013.
 
7. Co-Convener, AICTE Sponsored Winter School on “Industrial Applications of Mechatronics” in collaboration with Agnel Polytechnic, Verna, Goa in December 2013 with a grant of Rs. 7 lakhs.
