Biographical sketch:

I obtained my Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Kanpur in 2003 in the area of High Energy Physics(Phenomenology). After that, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Harish-Chandra Research Institute(HRI), Allahabad from 2002 to 2004, Chung-Yuan Christian University, Taiwan from 2004 to 2005 and the Institute of Mathematical Science(IMSc), Chennai from 2005 to 2007. I joined the Physics department of BITS Pilani, K K Birla campus in July 2007.

Teaching:

In this semester, I am teaching two courses (i) Oscillations and Waves(a multi-section course for first year students) and (ii) Mathematical Methods for Physics(a single section course for 2nd year students).
In the last semester (Sem I, 2025-26), I taught two courses (i) Oscillations and Waves(a multi-section course for first year students) and (ii) Classical Mechanics(a single section course for 2nd year students).
In the summer 2025, I taught the course Statistical Mechanics.
In semester II, 2024-25, I have taught two courses: (i) General Theory of Relativity & Cosmology and (ii) Particle Physics.
In the last semester (Semester 1, 2024-25), I have taught the following courses: (i) Quantum Mechanics for Engineers and (ii) Quantum Theory and Applications (To know more about my Teaching, click at Teaching).

Research interests:

I work in the areas of Cosmology, Astrophysics, and High Energy Physics. I am interested in (i) Looking for the signatures of New Physics (e.g. dark matter, extra dimension(s)) in ground-based and astrophysical laboratories, (ii) On early universe cosmology - inflation, modified gravity theories, (iii) Gravitational wave and its detection and (iv) Quantum Entanglement, Q-Memory.
