  1. Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK).
  2. From 2020 to this year placed among the top 2% of most cited scientists in the world for both categories. This database is created by researchers from Stanford University, USA based using Scopus publication data provided by Elsevier through ICSR Lab.
  3. Recipient of the “Research Excellence Award 2023” in the Basic Science category conferred by BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus.
  4. Recipient of the “Research Exchanges with China and India award” in 2010 and (b) “the Newton Research Collaboration Award” in 2015 (jointly with Prof Gerard Fernando, University of Birmingham, UK) bestowed by The Royal Academy of Engineering (UK).
  5. TUBITAK Visiting Scientist: (Twice) 2006, 2009 (2 months each time) to visit the Department of Chemistry, Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey to conduct research. Fellowship Award by “The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey”.
  6. Visiting Scholar Award:(Twice) To teach a course on Nanotechnology in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree programme EACH (Excellence in Analytical Chemistry) University of Tartu (2015- 2016) and (2018-19), Estonia.
  7. Received Highly Cited Author (top 10%) from Royal Society of Chemistry in UK for the paper “Debabrata Moitra, Barun Kumar Ghosh, Madhurya Chandel, Narendra Nath Ghosh*, ‘Synthesis of a BiFeO3 nanowire-reduced graphene oxide based magnetically separable nanocatalyst and its versatile catalytic activity towards multiple organic reactions’ RSC Advances 6, 97941–97952 (2016).
