Application for PhD positions Sem-I 2017-2018

Minor in Physics

 
Students can get admitted into the Minor programme at the end of 2nd year. However, they can start doing the minor courses from the beginning of 2nd year itself even before they apply for admission into the minor programme. Students can use their open electives to do their physics minor courses, if they wish.
To complete the minor they have to complete 3 core courses & 2 electives. Details are given below.
Following courses are mandatory and form the core of the Minor programme,

Department of Physics, Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India is going to organize a conference on DNA Physics from March 9-11, 2017. The aim of the conference is to review the recent advances in experimental, theoretical, and computational studies in the areas that revolve around DNA Physics. A meet like this will provide a common platform for the researchers working in various disciplines that explore the DNA.
