Quark, the annual techno-managerial and innovation festival held in and by the BITS-Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, is one of the most prestigious platforms to placate one's technical affinity. Over the years, Quark has metamorphosed into an ideal melting pot of the country's synergetic talent resonating with unmatched frequencies of fierce competition. It aims at forming a distinguished conglomerate of students who share a mutual passion for science, technology, management & humanities in a synthesis of enthusiasm and jubilation. 

SPREE 2010 was inaugurated by Chennai SuperKings Bowler Mr Shadab Jakati. Mr. SK Sharma, Chairman of All India Carroms Federation was the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony. It saw colleges from all over the country, including those from as far out as the distant land of Kashmir, engage in intense battles of grit, determination and passion. It also witnessed an interesting dose of innovation in the form of new ‘Special’ events to accompany the pre-existing conventional ones. So while Cricket was accompanied by Gully Cricket, Football by Futsal, Basketball by 3BA, Volleyball by 3vs3 and KickVolleyball, Lawn Tennis by Mini court Tennis, Table Tennis by Doubles, Carrom by C-Pool, Badminton by Mixed Doubles and Chess by anti-Chess. In addition to this, there was an eclectic mix of off-beat events such as Pool, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Go-Karting.

TEDxBITSGoa is an independently organized TEDx event operated under a license from TED. Its has been organized by a student body of BITS Pilani, Kk Birla Goa Campus from its inception in 2010 and functions on similar lines of TED Longbeach and TED Global. Starting off with a theme as "Inspiring Innovation" in 2010, it featured speakers of the likes of Prahlad Kakkar, Arvind Gupta, and Himanshu Parikh. Its successor in 2011 brought out speakers along the theme of "Exploring Transformation" which featured speakers like Rauf Ali, Anuradha Pal, and Brij Kothari. Growing over the years, TEDxBITSGoa 2012 promises to be a worth-watch event with speakers of the likes of Dr Kiran Bedi, guitarist Benny Prasad, animal activist Belinda Wright, humanitarian Dr ARK Pillai, and many more.
