Description:

Prof. (Dr.) Achint Nigam is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management, BITS Pilani (since January 2020), where he teaches and researches at the intersection of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Marketing Analytics, and Consumer Behavior. He holds a Fellow Program in Management (F.P.M.) (equivalent to Ph.D.) from IIM Lucknow and has over 7 years of post-doctoral teaching experience.

He is a pioneering Prompt Engineering Trainer whose proprietary 24-Pattern Framework for prompt engineering has been formalized into a taxonomic framework (SSRN Working Paper, April 2025). He has guided 1500+ professionals from marketing, education, technology, banking, HR/OB, consulting, and management sectors through expert-level workshops and FDPs, with participants consistently reporting 70–90% improvements in AI workflow efficiency.

His research spans Generative AI, Agentic AI, Blockchain, Metaverse, NFTs, Gamification, Customer Analytics, and Conditional Promotions, with 22 peer-reviewed journal papers, 6 teaching cases, and 2 book chapters published in journals such as Journal of Business Research (AJG 3), International Marketing Review (AJG 3), Industrial Management & Data Systems (ABDC-A), and Journal of Strategic Marketing (ABDC-A).

He is an active consultant for industry projects on Generative AI in education and product management (combined project value: ~INR 26 Lakhs), and previously served as a Guest Editor for Journal of Consumer Behaviour and VINE Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems.

He is a Fellow of the Academy of Marketing Science, member of Marketing Management Association, The Association for Consumer Research,  Society for Consumer Psychology (SCP), American Marketing Association, All India Management Association (Lifetime Member), Indian Academy of Management (INDAM), & Commerce and Management Association of India (CMAoI) (Lifetime member)
