About the Teaching
Prof. Maya Vinai has taught a diverse range of courses, including Postcolonial Literature, Contemporary Indian English Fiction, Popular Literature and Culture of South Asia, Heritage of India, Comparative Indian Literature, and Critical Analysis of Literature and Cinema. Additionally, she has instructed technical subjects such as Technical Report Writing and Technical Communication (M.E & WILP). Her expertise also extends to philosophical studies, as reflected in her course on Shankara's Thoughts.
In the current semester, Prof. Vinai is offering two courses - Ocean Humanities and Technical Report Writing, continuing her commitment to interdisciplinary education.
She has played a pivotal role in curriculum development, having designed and developed the course Contemporary Indian English Fiction (HSS F 237) and Ocean Humanities (HSS F 386), further enriching the academic offerings in literature and humanities.
