Piyush Khandelia obtained his B. Sc. (Botany Hons) from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, and a Master’s Degree in Plant Molecular Biology from Delhi University, New Delhi. He obtained his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He has worked as Post-Doctoral Fellow at NTU, Singapore; SICS/A*STAR, Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. Piyush Khandelia joined Department of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus is 2017. He has >20 years of research experience in understanding various facets of cellular RNA transactions such as pre-mRNA splicing mechanisms, non-coding regulatory RNAs and RNA modifications in simple models such as yeasts as well as complex human diseases such as cancer.
