2014: S.N.Gupta Memorial Award for research contribution to water resources engineering by Indian Society for Hydraulics. The award was given during the inaugural session of the HYDRO-2014 international conference, MANIT Bhopal, on December 18, 2014. Er M.D.Kudale, President of the Indian Society for Hydraulics, gave the award, and an organizing committee member gave a souvenir.
2003: Latest top-rated article rating, International Society of robust engineering professionals, USA in the category of operations research/statistics for the paper 'Multicriterion decision making in performance evaluation of an irrigation system' published in European Journal of Operational Research, 112(3), pp.479-488, 1999. 1999: Highest quality rating, Anbar Electronic Intelligence, UK, for the same paper.
