Open positions for project and Ph.D students. If you are interested, please contact at the above-mentioned email address.
My research activities belong to the broad umbrella of "Statistical Mechanics" and "Condensed Matter Physics". Under these domains, I focus on understanding the "dynamics of fluids near phase transitions" for various equilibrium and non-equilibrium phenomena, with motivations from biological micro-swimmers and technical applications in nano-devices. For this purpose, we use the "Classical Statistical Mechanics" framework and apply various computational techniques, e.g., GPU and CPU based molecular dynamics simulations, Monte Carlo simulations, etc. Few topics that we work on: droplet coalescence, phase separation, flow in nano channel, collective dynamics in near-critical fluids, confined fluids, Casimir forces, active colloids, etc.
