MSc. in Biodiversity, MES Abasahaeb Garware College, Savitribai Phule Pune University

I'm an aspiring ecologist, broadly interested in animal behaviour and interactions. My journey began with bird watching for a study, which was my first real attempt at systematically observing wildlife. Since then, I’ve studied crickets in the lab, frogs in the forest and birds in urban and urbanizing spaces. Over time, my interests have shifted to studying and exploring sociality and group dynamics across animal taxa—both in single and mixed-species groups; how these interactions are influenced by their environment, and vice-versa.

Visiting Research Fellow (MPI-IISc Collaborative Grant)

BS-MS dual degree in Life Sciences from IISER BHOPAL

I’m an ethologist who spends way too much time watching animals mind their own business. My research dives into the drama of social interactions, movement patterns, and decision-making in group-living species—basically, animal reality TV, but with data. Using field observations and high-tech tools like computer vision, I decode the secret lives of animals (minus the gossip).
