Global Scientific Conference 2025, IIT Bombay

Prof. Swati Biswas' research group attended in the Global Scientific Conference 2025 at IIT Bombay, India, from 8th to 11th October, 2025. The research group members presented their research works and findings through posters during the conference. The participants received a 100 % fee waiver under the category, top 30 women in science.

International Symposium cum Workshop on Innovations in Translational Therapy and Targeted Drug Delivery (ITTD-2025)

The Nanomedicine Research Laboratory team successfully organized and conducted the International Symposium cum Workshop on Innovations in Translational Therapy and Targeted Drug Delivery (ITTD-2025) from September 1–4, 2025 at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. This four-day event convened distinguished national and international scientists, academicians, industry leaders, and early-career researchers, creating a dynamic platform for scientific exchange and collaboration. The program featured plenary lectures, invited talks, expert panel discussions, poster and oral presentations, and hands-on training sessions, enabling participants to engage deeply with emerging advancements in translational therapeutics and targeted drug delivery. A notable highlight of the inaugural ceremony was the presence of Dr. Krishna Ella, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Bharat Biotech, who graced the event as Guest of Honor. His insightful address set an inspiring tone for the symposium and underscored the importance of innovation in shaping the future of healthcare.

In the conference, conducted by department of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, Prof. Swati Biswas delivered a talk on " Nanoflasks and flowers: Progress in nanostructures and drug delivery science for infectious diseases" and enlightened the audience regarding the advances in nanostructures which are beneficial to achieve precise targeting and improved delivery.
