Prof. Sudatta Banerjee is currently an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics and Finance at BITS Pilani-Hyderabad Campus, India. She served as the head of the department from April 2016 to September 2020 in the same department. She holds a Ph.D. in “Issues Relating to Quality of Human Capital and their Relationship with Economic Growth”, from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her research, publications, talks, and sponsored projects involve empirical developmental issues, education, health, gender studies, applied econometrics, and behavioral issues.
