About the Faculty

Dr. Gautam Singhvi is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, BITS, Pilani. He obtained his Ph.D. from BITS Pilani. He has 3 years of industrial research and 10 years of academic teaching and research experience. During his industrial tenure, he worked on solid oral, pellets, and complex pharmaceutical product development for the regulated market. Currently, he is involved in industrially feasible nanocarriers-based formulation development and optimization for various therapeutic agents. His team is extensively working on QbD driven design of topical drug delivery systems for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and fungal infections. He has published several research and review papers in reputed international peer-reviewed journals and book chapters with international publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, and Willy. He is actively involved in sponsored research projects from government funding agencies and pharmaceutical industries. As an inventor, he has filed 10 formulation patents. He is also a peer reviewer of several international journals. Dr. Singhvi listed in the “World Top 2% Scientists” in 2021 and 2022. He is very passionate about practicing the newer teaching pedagogy in his classroom teaching and motivating students to face the challenges of the new era.
