Asish Bera is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan. He received Ph.D. degree from the Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and M. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, India. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate (UKIERI-DST) at the Department of Computer Science, Edge Hill University, Lancashire, U.K. His research interests include Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence , Machine learning and Deep Learning. He is a member of IEEE and Sports Engineering Association, India.
His recent areas of research includes: AI-ML-DL in Agriculture & Healthcare, and Sports & Dance Recognition. His works have been published in top-tier scientific venues in the fields of Image Processing, Biometrics, Human Activity Recognition, etc.
