Professor, Department of Biological Science, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus

Associated with teaching Biology to undergraduate engineering students, with an emphasis on making fundamental biological concepts accessible and relevant to engineering applications for the past 14 years. My teaching integrates core topics such as cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, and biotechnology with real-world examples from biomedical engineering, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, and environmental sustainability. I employ interactive teaching methods, case-based learning, and problem-solving approaches to encourage critical thinking and interdisciplinary understanding. My objective is to foster scientific curiosity while equipping engineering students with the biological knowledge and analytical skills needed to address emerging challenges at the interface of biology and engineering.
