About the Faculty

Dr. Sangita Yadav joined the Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani, in August 2012 as an Assistant Professor. Prior to joining BITS Pilani, she had worked as an Assistant Professor at Central Univeristy of Rajasthan and Postdoc fellow at Yonsei University, South Korea. Presently, she is involved in active teaching and research in the area of Mathematics, specially numerical methods for partial differential equations. She is currently working on virtual element methods, discontinuous Galerkin methods, hybridized discontinuous Galerkin methods, and hybridized higher-order methods applied to partial differential equations.
